News: EthicsPoint Appoints David Smith Director of Product Management


Smith to Help Accelerate Company's Application Expansion Strategy

Portland, Ore. – December 14, 2007 – David Smith was recently appointed director of product management for EthicsPoint, a Portland-based market leader in business process optimization for Issue, Event, and Loss Management. Smith is responsible for managing the company’s on-demand product development and product marketing programs. He provides EthicsPoint with a seasoned ability to refine product definition and direction and draws from a broad background in engineering, web development, marketing, and journalism. Smith has over 20 years of experience in defining and marketing software and services within software-as-a-service (SaaS), security, collaboration, and design automation markets. Prior to EthicsPoint, he served in a similar capacity at Eid Passport, Inc.

Smith holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
