The EthicsPoint Regional User Forums are a gathering of Client-Partners in the areas of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), as well as various Practice Leaders (Internal Audit, Loss Prevention, Data Breach, Privacy, Human Resources, etc). These forums have been designed to provide an ongoing community within which leaders can share ideas and concepts related to aligning organizational performance objectives with technology infrastructure and GRC processes. Members of the User Forums will be armed with the resources and professional contacts needed to improve their programs.
Each series will include open discussions centered on a series of relevant topic areas and allow for close interaction and meaningful conversation. In addition, EthicsPoint will facilitate discussions to educate and discuss the on-going evolution of the EthicsPoint v3.x Issue and Event Manager service offerings currently in development.
Participation in the EthicsPoint User Forums is free, and registration is required. Seating is limited and your registration will be confirmed on a first-come basis.
The proposed agenda includes the following discussion topics:
Broadening Issue and Risk Awareness: Ethics & Compliance Program – Give a brief overview of company’s program, how is it set-up and what are the overall goals and objectives of your program and various initiatives. How has or does your company broaden the awareness (internal and external) of incidents and key risk areas – looking outside the hotline? How do you successfully liaise with other risk areas in your organization and engage each area by using an integrated case management system? Discuss ways in which a comprehensive case management system facilitates better communication and faster adoption of a greater risk management program.
Integrated Internal Investigative Process: What are the key-components you consider in establishing a consistent; enterprise wide investigation process aimed at bringing appropriate participation from cross-functional enterprise users? What kinds of records and documents should be captured in the system to ensure proper documentation and resolution of an integrity or risk issue? What are the best practices in this area?
Oversight and Transparency: What information collected through the report process requires escalation to management? How do you identify what to report specific to your key areas of risk? What are the important pieces of information that should or must be presented for oversight purposes? What are the trends? Moving beyond statistics, how do we act on the metrics we have realized; and drive conclusions off the data?
EthicsPoint v3.x Product Release: EthicsPoint will provide an overview of the framework and guidelines of our v3.x platform. We will facilitate discussion surrounding your ideas and concepts to continue the evolution of our products and services.
