News: EthicsPoint Launches New Online Community Forum
Market leader in hotline/helpline and issue and event management solutions launches a private and secure discussion board for EthicsPoint clients!
Portland, Ore. – April 09, 2008 – EthicsPoint, Inc., a market leader in business process optimization for Issue, Event, and Loss Management, announced today that it has launched the EthicsPoint Online Community Forum, a private and secure discussion board and support group where clients can post and reply to a diverse set of issues and topics.
The EthicsPoint Community Forum was created to bring together users of the EthicsPoint application to share questions, suggestions, feedback, and best practices. This dynamic forum lends insight into the EthicsPoint application and contains discussion threads about Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Users can post anonymously, if desired, and can respond to posts in near real-time.
“We’re thrilled to be communicating with our client base via the forum, and we are encouraging our user community to share information and ideas. As EthicsPoint grows, and as our client base diversifies, there is a tangible need to have a single repository for information and discussion, a place where true community is built among our users,” said David Childers president and chief executive officer of EthicsPoint. “We have put all of the appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and use appropriately the information we collect online. With this, users can feel just as safe on the forum as they do within our Issue and Event Manager application.”
The EthicsPoint Online Community Forum is entirely voluntary and access is provided on a members-only basis to clients of EthicsPoint. In addition to EthicsPoint clients, the company has invited industry thought leaders like Scott Mitchell, chairman and chief executive officer of the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG), to participate.
